TV adventurer Bear Grylls has been named the UK’s youngest ever Chief Scout. He will hold the voluntary position for 5 years when He takes over from former Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan.
Bear has said that he learnt the basic skills He uses in his programmes when He was Scout and developed those skills during his three years in the SAS.
He is hoping to encourage more adults to become involved and become leaders.
